About EverSafe
EverSafe is made by EverLabs Software Ltd, a software company based in Kent, England. We build it for households and small businesses who want a backup they can trust without having to become IT experts.
Why we built it
Most people think about backup only after losing something: a drive that stops working, a laptop left on a train, a ransomware email opened by mistake. By then it's too late.
We wanted a backup that runs by itself, keeps enough history to go back to before a problem started, and keeps your files private even from the company storing them. So EverSafe encrypts everything on your PC, with a key made from a password only you know, before anything is uploaded.
That choice has a cost, and we'd rather say so up front: because we never have your encryption password, we can't reset it. If it's lost, your backups can't be decrypted. We think that's the right trade for data this personal.

Your files are yours
We can't read your backups. If we were ever asked for your data, all we could hand over is encrypted blocks we can't open.

You choose a plan by storage and number of computers. Encryption and ransomware protection come with every plan, and you can cancel from your account.
How it's built
Well-tested, published methods rather than anything home-made where security is concerned.
